AUDIOCEAN VOYAGE Every ship has different venues and every sailing has different groups who ask for different spaces. We try to plan our sailings in off-times to save money for you and to give ourselves the most run of the ship. Our schedule last year was ideal and we hope to repeat something similar. We were offered a large and beautiful lounge at the front of the ship for prime evening shows 4 of the 5 nights. Then, allowing ourselves a break for dinner, we were able to use a smaller nightclub for afterhours shows every night. We couldn’t have asked for a better schedule and everyone had the time of their lives. As an added bonus, author Tom Casey kindly invited our group to join him for a cocktail hour in his Owners’ Suite, where the Moon Shine Babies played a haunting acoustic set. Whether you are in a band, are learning an instrument, or just like to pick up and play when you can, your musical itch will get scratched. There is regular jamming in cabins, on balconies, in our private conference room, during set up and break down, on the back deck, on the front deck, on the pool deck, and anywhere else people are hanging out. Since the bands who attend are so seasoned, talented, and passionate, there are constant opportunities to play and they often play all over the ship in rogue jams or when prompted by other musicians, staff, or the romantic atmosphere of an Italian restaurant.
